Who are We?
The Deering Center is an Christian Family Campground and Retreat Center open to all. Our hope is to help strenghten individuals and families by providing an enviroment of respect, caring, love, and well-being. We are a grassroots 501c3 non-profit organization that has been formed to reopen the former Deering Conference Center as the The Deering Center. We envision a place that will bring together all Christians together to explore and celebrate their love for God and each other. We seek to provide a clean, comfortable, and calm retreat, conference, and camping center for all Christians, religous groups and non-profits. Our facility is located in south central New Hampshire in close proximity to all major cities in central New England. Come visit us!

The Deering Center is located on 105 acres in the rolling hills of south central New Hampshire, in Hillsboro County. We are located at the intersection of route 149 and Camp Road. Headed west we are on the right, just after the Deering General Store. Maps and directions can be found below.
From the South (Boston, Eastern Massachusetts or Rhode Island)
Take route 93 or 3 North to 101 West to 114 North. Follow 114 through Goffstown into Weare. After Country Three Corners Store and Lumberyard, take a left and then a quick right onto Route 149. We are approximately 6 miles on the right. After The Deering General Store, as you go up the hill and just after the big white building on your right, turn right into the driveway. |
From the West (Keene, NH, Western Massachusetts, Central and Western Connecticut.
Take 9 East to Hillsboro, NH. Take first Hillsboro Route 202 exit. At light turn (at Mcdonald’s) turn left onto 202 business. Go about 1 mile and take right onto Route 149. We are approximately 6 miles on the left. Our driveway is on the left before you get to the bottom of a hill.

From Central Massachusetts or Eastern Connecticut.
Take Route 395 north to Route 290 east to 190 North to 2 West for one exit. Take exit at the Route 13 N exit. Follow Route 13 to Milford. Go through Milford's town "oval" (exit oval approximately opposite to where you enter). Go left (still on Rt. 13) at the drugstore. In New Boston, follow signs to Route 77 N (Rt 13 turns right towards Goffstown, but you stay straight for a block and then you bear right on 77). Follow Rt 77 until you see a sign for Route 149. Go left (west) towards Deering/Hillsboro. Follow 149 for approximately 6 miles. We are the first driveway (big white buildings) on the right after Cross Road. |
From Northwestern NH., Central and Northern Vermont
Take 89 South, to Exit 6, Route 127. Take a right and follow over Hopkinton Dam. After the dam, take a left at the blinking light. At the intersection of 202, then take a right. Follow to Henniker Exit 114. Take left onto off-ramp and follow 114 South to Country Three Corners Store. Bear right onto Route 77. Take a quick right onto Route 149. Follow 149 for approximately 6 miles. We are the large white building on the right after The Deering General Store. |
From Northern, NH or NH/Canadian Border
Take 93 South to 89 North Take Exit 2, Clinton St. Exit. Turn Left onto Clinton St. Rt. 13 South. Continue straight to Route 114 you will pass Weare Congregational Church on left. Continue straight this turns into Reservoir Rd. This is a small country road don’t worry you are not lost! Continue straight over bridge. After bridge Reservoir Rd. bears off to the right continue straight onto Hogden Rd. Continue straight a road will come in from the right and bear off to the left. Continue straight this road will end on Route 149 (Deering Center Rd.). Take Right onto Route 149. Follow 149 for approximately 4 miles. We are the large white building on the right after The Deering General Store and Cross Rd.. |
From Maine
Take 95 south to 101 East (Exit just before Hampton Tolls) to 93 and 293 merge with 101 continue to follow signs for 101 West. In Bedford, 101 will turn left continue straight onto 114 north. Follow through Goffstown into Weare. After Country Three Corners Store, take a left, then a quick right onto 149. Follow 149 for approximately 6 miles. We are the large white building on the right after The Deering General Store. |
